Charlotte, NC- Glenville State Track & Field had a solid weekend at the 49er classic hosted by UNC-Charlotte. The Pioneers had eight season bests, and six personal bests over the two day meet.
Nate Wheeler finished sixth in the A flight of Pole Vault soaring to a season best of 14'9. Fellow Senior
Brody Strawderman finished third in hammer, and fourth in discus with solid marks in both events.
Ian Beller would add a sixth place finish in the shot put.
On the women's side,
Angela Ejimofor ran a personal best of 15.29 in the 100H, and also added a 25.83 in the 200 which is .03 off of her personal best in the event. Teammate
Koschinya Jefferson ran a personal best of 12.51 in the 100 meter dash, and added a season best of 11.19 meters in the shot put.
Pioneer Track & Field will stay in state this weekend traveling to Bethany College in the northern panhandle.
Events are set to begin at 10 AM on Saturday, March 26th.
