Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC Lady Pioneers had three players score in double figures as they picked up a 28 point victory over Urbana on Thursday night winning their second straight.

Glenville State (16-3, 10-3) would fall behind early in the first quarter as Urbana took a four point lead 7-3 however the Lady Pioneers would put together a 13-0 run as they went to defeat the Blue Knights by 28 points, 85-57.

GSC would hold a double digit lead for most of the contest with their largest lead being 31 point coming late in the fourth quarter.

The Lady Pioneers forced 21 turnovers and scored 27 points off of them while GSC also scored 23 second chance points.

Kristin DesRocher drained a game-high 21 points as she went 6-of-11 from deep and Paris McLeod scored 12 points to go with 11 rebounds and dished out a game-high eight assists as she finished with a double-double.

Tayana Stewart chipped with 10 points off the bench for GSC.

Urbana (4-12, 2-11) was led by Sylvia Hudson as she scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as she finished the night with a double-double.

Glenville State will host the Falcons of Notre Dame this Saturday, January 28^th with tip-off set for 2:00 p.m.
