Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers picked up their seventh win in a row and the first of 2017 as they went on the road and defeated the Notre Dame College Falcons on Tuesday night, 111-81.
Glenville State (10-1, 4-1) had a great shooting performance as they shot 52 percent from the floor and 46 percent from deep hitting 14-of-30 three-pointers on the night.
The Lady Pioneers never trailed in the game and the GSC defense caused 25 turnovers and converted them into 29 points.
Paris McLeod had her self a great game for the Lady Pioneers as she scored a game high and season high 32 points, just five points off of her career high, to go along with five rebounds.
Courtney Davis also had a great game as she scored 22 points and had 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the season.
Asiya Smith was the only other Lady Pioneer in double figure as she chipped in with 12 points.
Notre Dame (2-8, 1-4) was led by Kelsey Miller with 25 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Glenville State will travel to Urbana University this Thursday, January 5
th for a 5:30 p.m. matchup with the Blue Knights.
