Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Pioneers fell at home on Wednesday night to the Concord University Mountain Lions dropping their fifth straight game.
 
Glenville State (8-11, 5-10) had a good first half as they shot 43 percent and built a six point lead at the half 35-29.
 
In the second half GSC extended their lead to seven 54-47 with 12:14 to play however Concord then went on a 8-0 run as they took a one point lead 55-54 at the 10:22 minute mark.
 
Both teams would keep it close and as they were all tied up at 62 all with under 3:00 minutes to play. Concord then went on a 12-8 run to end the contest as they defeated the Pioneers by three, 74-71.
 
Glenville State finished the night shooting 43 percent from the floor going 27-of-62 and 30 percent from behind the arc going 8-of-26. Concord shot 45 percent from the field as they went 30-of-66 and 23 percent from deep going just 4-of-17.
 
The Pioneers had four players score in double figures with Terry Davis Jr. leading the way with 19 points. Jalon Plummer came off the bench to score 18 points as he went 6-for-10 in the contest and grabbed nine rebounds just missing a double-double.
 
Also for GSC Jon Dunmyer chipped in with 14 points while Brett Morris recorded his seventh double-double of the season scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Morris also dished out a game-high six assists.
 
Concord (6-15, 2-13) picked up just their second conference victory. The Mountain Lions had three players score in double figures with Aaron Miller scoring a game-high 23 points.
 
Glenville State now travels to UVa-Wise this Saturday, February 4^th for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off with the Cavaliers.
