Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers won their fourth straight game as they rolled to a 26 point victory over the Mountain Lions of Concord University on Wednesday night at the Waco Center.

Glenville State (18-3, 12-3) struggled early as Concord outscored the Lady Pioneers in the first quarter 24-21.

In the second quarter GSC would tie it up at 26 all at the 8:05 minute mark and after that tie the Lady Pioneers went on a 23-12 run to end the quarter as they took an 11 point lead into halftime 49-38.

In the second half the Lady Pioneers outscored the Mountain Lions 52 to 37 as they picked up a 101-75 win.

Glenville State scored 29 points off of 22 turnovers and scored 30 second chance points while Concord had just five second chance points. The Lady Pioneers also had a huge advantage on the boards out rebounding Concord 58 to 36.

Kaelynn Wilson scored a game-high and career-high 18 points for GSC while
Courtney Davis scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season and second back-to-back.

Paris McLeod chipped in with 15 points to go with nine rebounds and six assists.
Odyssey Trussell and
Asiya Smith each scored 12 points in the game while
Tayana Stewart scored 11 points off the bench.

Concord (3-16, 2-13) had four players score in double figures with Lindsey Overbey leading the way with 16 points.
