Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Pioneer men's basketball team is set to square off with the Concord University Mountain Lions this Wednesday in an MEC conference game at 7:30 p.m. from inside the Waco Center.
Glenville State (5-2, 2-2) comes into the game after defeating the Shepherd University Rams Saturday, 106-101. Concord (5-2, 3-1) earned their fifth win on Saturday defeating the Yellow Jackets of West Virginia State University, 98-91.

rd nationally in scoring averaging 106.1 point per game. GSC is averaging 13 three-pointers per contest which is 2

Darhius Nunn is 2
nd in the MEC in scoring with 23.4 points per game. He is also leads the country (DII) and the league (MEC) in assist with 10.0 per game. Nunn has also scored over 30 points twice this year and has had four game with 10 or more assists.
Phil Bledsoe is 2
nd in the MEC in rebounding as he is pulling down 10. 1per game.
Jamal Pollydore is perfect from the free-throw line this season. To date Pollydore is 18-for-18.
Ty Robinson is 2
nd in the conference in blocks with 3.0 per contest.
Davion Johnson has posted five double-doubles in just seven games while
Darhius Nunn has posted four double-doubles, and
Phil Bledsoe has posted three double-doubles to date.
Concord Notes
Concord is led by Tommy Bolte as he leads the league in scoring with 27.0 points per game and ranks 3
rd nationally. The Mountain Lions are on a three-game winning streak. Concord has scored over 95 points for the third straight contest. Bolte is coming off of being named the MEC Player of the Week.
Junior guard Jair Rodgers has also chipped in the recent scoring streak as he is averaging 21.6 points per game over the last three contests while shooting 53.8 percent from the field (21-for-39) and 48.0 percent (12-for-25) from three-point range.
Dating back to the 2013-14 season, CU has shot 45 percent or better against Glenville State in 10 straight games including five games in which it has sported a field goal percentage of 50 percent or better. The Mountain Lions are 6-4 in those 10 games versus Glenville State. In his last four games versus GSC, Bolte is averaging 20.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 50.7 percent from the floor.
