Myrtle Beach, SC – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer softball team split, on Tuesday, day two of the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The first contest of the day saw the Lady Pioneers matchup up with Cardinal Stritch University.
Glenville State would easily take the game defeating Cardinal Stritch, 4-0. The Lady Pioneers recorded eight hits while giving up just four.
Paranda Uber finished 2-for-4 with two RBI's while
Kelsey Naylor and
McKenzie Edmonds each had an RBI.
Ally Brown improved to 3-1 on the mound allowing two hits and three strike outs.
In game two of the day, the Lady Pioneers took on Waldorf Warriors. GSC dropped the game to the Warriors, 5-4.
???????Glenville State outhit Waldorf 11-6 but GSC committed four errors while the Warriors had just one.
Catherine Pelfrey finished the day 2-for-4 with three RBI's with
McKenzie Edmonds also having an RBI.
Ally Brown went 3-for-4 while
Hannah Wright finished the game 1-for-2 with a scored run.
Tori Ward pitched 4.1 innings allowing four hits and three earned runs.
???????Glenville State (3-5) will take on Ohio Valley today March 7
th at 3:30 p.m. and will then battle at 5:30 p.m. against Malone University.
