Glenville, W.Va. – The Lady Pioneers will host the Cardinals of Wheeling University in the Waco Center, Wednesday January 8th at 5:30pm as both teams return to conference action.

The Blue and White come into the match at 8-4 on the year and 4-2 in conference as they defeated Johnson C Smith University to start the year, 101-72.

Wheeling University kicked off the year by falling to Ursuline College 67-78 to sit at 3-8 and 2-4 in the MEC.
  
In the last meet between the schools, GSC pulled through with a win 91-66 in 2018.
 
Pioneer Highlights
 
Glenville State leads the division in 3-Point Field Goals Per Game at 11.1 and scoring offensive averaging 104.8 a night. Following, the Lady Pioneers also lead third in the nation in Offensive Rebounds Per Game with 19.7.
 
The Blue and White sit fifth and seventh in Steals Per Game and Scoring Margin at 14.3 and 23.3, respectively.
 
Emily Stoller leads seventh in the nation in 3-Point Field Goals Made with a total of 44.
 
Zakiyah Winfield follows 11^th in the division in Field Goal Percent at 6.21.
