Glenville, W.Va. – The Pioneers are set to conclude their regular MEC Season at Concord, February 29
th at 4pm.

The Pioneers fell on senior night as the lead traded hands throughout both halves of the contest against the No. 2 seed, University of Charleston. However, the Blue and White would fall in the final possession, 70-71.
GSC currently mans the sixth seed, clinching a spot in the MEC Championship tournament sitting at 13-14 on the year and 10-11 in conference action.
The Pioneers average 90.1 points a game, third in the MEC and first in Field Goals Made at 12.4 per night while also holding the second spot in Assist/Turnover Ratio at 1.39.
Concord enters the contest in the eighth seed at 11-16, 8-13 MEC with a recent victory over West Virginia State, 89-75.
The Mountain Lions are shooting 44% from the floor and man the third spot in Field Goal Percentage shooting 36% from behind the arc.
Earlier in the season, the Pioneers defeated Concord at home 89-74, however GSC is on a seven game skid.
Pioneer Highlights
Phil Bledsoe holds the second position in Scoring and Rebounds averaging 20.1 points a game and 9.3 rebounds a night.
Ty Robinson maintains the first position in Blocked Shots as
Hegel Augustin follows behind in the fourth spot as he had five blocks in the contest against UC.
Steven Verplancken and Augustin sits 17
th and 18
th respectively in scoring as they both average 15.7 points a game.
