Glenville, W.Va. – The Lady Pioneers will host the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons this Wednesday February 5^th at 5:30pm from inside the Waco Center.

Glenville State defeated the Notre Dame Falcons in Winter Homecoming action to take the top seed in the conference sitting at 16-4 on the year and 12-2 in MEC play.
 
The Lady Pioneers are first in their division in offensive scoring averaging 108.3 points a contest shooting 46% from the floor.
 
Fairmont State fell to University of Charleston by ten, 88-78 to place the Falcons sixth overall in conference action with a 11-9, 8-6 MEC record.
 
The Falcons are second in the conference shooting 36% from behind the arc and first in Free Throws making 78%.
 
Earlier in the season, the Lady Pioneers fell 101-87 to the Falcons.   
 
Pioneer Highlights
 
Zakiyah Winfield is second in the MEC in Field Goal Percentage hitting 60% of her shots while averaging 18.7 points a game.
 
Abby Stoller averages 5.8 rebounds a night as Re'Shawna Stone norms 2.7 assists per game.
 
Stone and Taychaun Hubbard are fifth and seventh in steals averaging 2.2 and 1.7 a night.
 
Emily Stoller sits at fifth in both 3-Point Field Goal Percentage and 3-Point Field Goals Per Game at 38% averaging 3.8 a contest.
 
Coming Up
 
The Pioneers will travel to Frostburg State to square off against the Bobcats at the end of the week.
