Glenville, W.Va. – Pitching duals in both games against West Chester and IUP would get passed the Lady Pioneers as they end the weekend off 0-2.

Inside The Box Score
Kara Smith lead the offensive attack in the series going 3-6 on the day including a three run homerun.
Paranda Uber and
Mackenzie Martinelli both tallied two hits on the day as Martinelli scored on an inside the park homerun.
Tori Ward pitched 4.2 innings giving up nine hits with
Celina Maberto pitching six giving up five runs.
How It Happened
Game One: Glenville 0, West Chester 5
Kara Smith tallied the first hit of the contest in the second inning with a fly ball over West Chester's center fielder, just short of the wall for a stand up double.
Kelsey Naylor would then be walked, however both runners were unable to score.
West Chester continued the second half of the inning loading the bases, but able to get out of the inning, scoreless from both sides.
The Golden Rams continued to load the bases in the bottom of the third but with two outs,
Paranda Uber's diving catch would end the inning maintaining a scoreless ball game.
In the fourth Makenzie Martinelli doubled down the left field line and advancing to third on a passed ball.
Kelsey Naylor and
Jessica Williams both walked to load the bases with two outs but three runners were left on base.
West Chester would get ahead in the fifth off of five hits to lead 4-0. Looking to make a comeback, Smith started the sixth with a single down the right field line. Martinelli pushed pinch runner Ashely Fridley on a single to center.
Jessica Williams then loaded the bases by being hit by pitch but again the Lady Pioneers were unable to capitalize leading another three runners on base.
West Chester then advanced their lead in the sixth 5-0, GSC unable to capitalize in the seventh.
Game Two: Glenville 4, IUP 5
IUP opened the contest in the second earning their first hit of the ball game as
Paranda Uber busted open the sticks on a single to left.
Jeri Potter then pushed Uber to second on an error bunt caused by the third basement. From there,
Peyton Werntz moved both runners on sac bunt but unable to capitalize.
Fast forward to the sixth GSC got on the board first as, Uber hit a ball to the right field wall for a stand up triple. Potter then walked on a hit by pitch stealing second as Kara Smith came up to the plate with a no-doubter over center field. Martinelli then followed behind with an inside the park homerun in the left field corner. The Lady Pioneers lead the top half of the sixth 4-0.
IUP answered back quick in the bottom half with a homerun to cut their deficit 4-2.
In the bottom of the seventh, GSC would lead 4-2 as
Ashley Fridley would come in as IUP had runners on first and second. Both runners would advance on a passed ball and score on a blooper to tie the contest at four all.
Heading into international tie breaker, GSC could not score Pelfrey from second heading into the bottom of the eighth.
IUP started with a runner at second and moved over with a sac bunt. From there, IUP hit a double to left center scoring their runner from third to walk off the contest 5-4.
