Glenville, W.Va. – GSC Lady Pioneers set to host University of Charleston in end of week clash, Sunday January 10
th at 2:00pm.

Glenville State picked up their season opener victory at West Virginia State, leading the MEC's Scoring Margin with 44 points, 21 points ahead of second seat Wheeling University.
University of Charleston, picked third in the Mountain East Preseason Poll defeated Concord University 69-56.
The Lady Pioneers sit first in the conference in Offensive Scoring and Offensive Rebounding with 126 points and 69 total rebounds. The Golden Eagles on the other hand lead the conference defensively as they are averaging 30 rebounds and 56 points defensive rebounds after the first season contest.
Pioneer Highlights
GSC Lady Pioneers lead the Mountain East in Field Goal Percentage, Field Goals Made and Assist/Turnover Ratio with 48.3%, 14 and 1.44, respectively.
Taychaun Hubbard and Re'Shawna Stone sit second and third in conference scoring as
Zakiyah Winfield and
Abby Stoller maintain the second and sixth spot in rebounds.
Vendela Danielsson tallied five three-pointers on the night to sit first in the MEC along with
Mashayla Cecil holds the third spot with three 3-pointers made.
Coming Up
The Lady Pioneers will match up against Davis & Elkins College at home, Wednesday, January 13
th at 5:30pm. At this time a no spectator policy will be followed at each of the 12 Mountain East Conference institutions. The league's Board of Directors will evaluate the no spectator policy no earlier than January 19, 2021.
