DANVILLE, Va. – Just two days removed from their historic match against WVU, Glenville State's wrestling squad traveled to Danville, Virginia on Sunday, competing against five other institutions in a tournament hosted by Averett University. Coach Dylan Cottrell's squad went 4-1 on the day. 

Glenville posted victories over Averett (27-25), Emory & Henry (54-12), Montreat (42-6), and Greensboro (40-13). Their lone loss on the day came against Limestone 14-29.

Individually, GSC had three wrestlers go undefeated in the tournament; Jordan Williams (6-0 at 197), Gavin Quiocho (5-0 at 149), and Hunter DeLong (5-0 at 174). Cole Houser went 4-1 at 184.

Glenville improves to 14-3 in dual match action for the season. Cottrell's squad is back in action next weekend, traveling to the University of Indianapolis for more tournament competition.
