Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Football team will look to pick up their first win of the season on Saturday, April 10 as they host the Hilltoppers of West Liberty University on Homecoming at 1:30pm from Morris Stadium.

Glenville State (0-3) had their last game canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. That game was against Concord University on April 3. The Pioneers last game came at home against the WVSU Yellow Jackets in which they ended up falling by 10, 37-27.
GSC is averaging 11.33 points per game while the defense is allowing 37.33 points per contest.
The Pioneers have been disciplined this spring only being flagged 17 times for 148 yards while their opponents have 21 penalties for 206 yards.

The Hilltoppers are averaging 4.6 yards per play while they are allowing 5.9 yards per play.
Quincy Wimbish is the team's leading rusher with 255 yards and three touchdowns.
Jack Allison has completed 30 passes with 64 incompletions for 329 yards and a TD.
Wisdom Jenkins has 11 receptions for 129 yards.
Defensively, Clay McDonald is the team's leading tackler with 17 total on the year with a sack.
Glenville State is 3-4 against the Hilltoppers since 2013. Last season, West Liberty defeated the Pioneers at home, 43-20.

Alfred Menjor leads the rushing attack for the Pioneers. He has 103 yards on 29 carriers.
Seth Arnold has the lone rushing TD for GSC with 53 total yards on 15 carriers.
Tim Heltzel is 34-for-64 on the season with four touchdowns and two interceptions. He had thrown for 503 yards in three games.
Zay Huff has been his favorite target as he has hauled in 13 catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
