Morgantown, W.Va. - Glenville State Wrestling returned to action at the Mountaineer Quad Sunday night. The Pioneers as a team went 0-3 but Cole Houser Jared Campbell, and Gavin Quicho all had good showings at the event. Glenville lost to the Mountaineers 37-9, Northern Colorado 45-6, and Edinboro 20-18.

Houser from Bellefontaine, Ohio defeated West Virginia's Anthony Carman in the first dual of the Day by decision 6-5. Carman came into the match ranked 24th in the country.

In his second match against Big 12 foe Northern Colorado, Houser picked up his first loss of the season. Cole finished the Mountaineer Quad 2-1 winning his last match against Edinboro.

The Transfer from Notre Dame College Jared Campbell wrestling at the heavyweight class won against the Mountaineers Michael Wolfgram. Wolfram heading into the day was ranked 17th in the nation.

Campbell was able to pick another win against a Big 12 opponent. In his match against Northern Colorado Jared won by pin in the first round.

Gavin Quiocho was also able to defeat West Virginia in the opening match. Quiocho won the match by decision 8-3 defeating Colton Drousias. Gavin finished the day 1-2 against stiff competition defeating Edinboro by decision. 

The Pioneers will be back in action at the Lander Duals on December 3rd.
