GLENVILLE – Coach Justin Caldwell's Glenville State Pioneers are back at the Waco Center, facing the visiting Wheeling Cardinals on Saturday. It is a contest that has standings implications for both teams.
Glenville has been led by the duo of John Williams Jr. and Adrian Scarborough. Williams Jr. is averaging a league-best 23.1 points per game, and 8.9 rebounds. Scarborough is averaging 15.3 ppg and 9.1 rebounds. Tommy Williams and Zane DeSouza have both been hot of late, with both averaging in double-figures on the season. Williams at 10.4 and DeSouza 10.1.
Wheeling has been led by the duo of Jordan Reid (19.3 ppg), and Jarett Haines (17.8)
Glenville enters the contest 8-12 overall and 5-11 in the Mountain East Conference. Wheeling is 8-15 overall, and 7-10 in the MEC.
Tip-off is set for 3:00 on the Waco Center's McPherson Court.
