GLENVILLE – Glenville captured a much needed road win at D&E on Wednesday night…now they return home in an effort to piece together a late-season winning streak. Their opponent Saturday will be the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats as part of GSC's Winter Homecoming festivities.
John Williams Jr. has been on fire of late. He led the Pioneers at D&E with 29 points, 18 of which came in the last five minutes. He continues to lead the league in scoring with a 23.9 average. He has been complemented by Adrian Scarborough who is averaging 15.3.
Wesleyan has been led by Jayden Hibbitt who is averaging 19.3 points per game.
Glenville has been strong at home this season, posting an 8-3 record on the friendly confines of McPherson Court. The Pioneers are 10-13 overall, and 7-12 in the Mountain East Conference. Wesleyan is 2-23 overall, 1-18 in the MEC.
Tip-off is set for 3:00 at the Waco Center.
