Box Score WEST LIBERTY – Glenville played nationally ranked West Liberty close throughout the first half, but the short-handed Pioneers succumbed to the Hilltoppers in the second half, falling 102-70 .
Glenville kept it close early, and grabbed a 31-28 lead on a Gus Eddy three with 5:54 remaining in the half. West Liberty responded with a late half surge, taking a 43-36 lead into halftime. They gained separation early in the second half, and maintained their advantage from there.
Glenville was led by Adrian Scarborough, who delivered his eighth double-double in the last nine games, posting team-highs with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He was complemented by John Williams Jr. with 15 and Dajon Congleton with 12. Eddy added nine.
West Liberty was led by Pat Robinson with 20 and Bryce Butler 16.
Glenville falls to 8-12 overall and 5-11 in the Mountain East Conference. West Liberty improves to 21-2 overall, and 15-2 in the MEC.
