Lady Pioneers Place Eighth at Champions of Women’s Golf

Columbus, Ohio - Glenville State's Women's Golf wrapped up the final round of the Champions of Women's Golf Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican University. The Lady Pioneers produced a strong finish at a prestigious event placing eighth. Glenville was able to defeat Mountain East Conference foe the University of Charleston and NCAA Atlantic Region opponent California Pennsylvania.

As a team, the Lady Pioneers finished the second round with a score of 327 and 641 for the tournament. Glenville was led by Grace Halcrow today. Halcrow produced a 79 placing tied for ninth as an individual with a tournament score of 15 over par. Freshman Hailey Hendershot would also place inside the top 25 tied at 15th. Hendershot wrapped up the second round posting an 80 and finished 17 over par for the tournament. Holly Elliott produced an 83 followed by Lizzie Bickar with an 85, Kendall Wall also produced an 85, and Deborah Hill with a 97. Bickar would just miss the top 25 finishing tied for 27th overall.

Northern Michigan placed first at the Champions of Women's Golf with a team score of 624 with Ashland right behind them with a score of 625.
