With only three participants Glenville State finished 10th out of 11 teams. Two of Coach Cottrell's wrestlers finished first at the Waynesburg Invitational.

Sophomore Ethan Hardy placed first wrestling at the 141 weight class. In the first-place match for the 141 weight class the Charles Town, W.Va. native won by decision 8-1.

Cole Houser was the second Pioneer to place first at the Waynesburg Invitational. Similarly to Hardy, Houser finished the event 4-0. On his climb to the 197 weight class championship round the Senior won by tech fall twice and by major decision.  In the championship match Houser won by major decision over Alderson Broaddus's Dwayne Johnson 15-4.
