GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Wrestling will open the 2023-24 season tomorrow (Nov. 1) at the University of Buffalo. The Division I Bulls will also be hosting Brockport, Seton Hill and Niagara CC.
The 21st ranked Pioneers were picked to finish 2nd in the MEC earlier today. One key returner is defending 133 National Champion Gavin Quiocho, who is also slated #1 in the NWCA Preseason Individual Ranking in the 133 class. Head Coach Dylan Cottrell reloaded this season, returning mainstays from last season while adding new faces who will make an immediate impact.
GSU met with Seton Hill last season to open up the year in the Pioneer Duals. The Pioneers were victorious 33-16 on their home mat. Buffalo finished 3rd in the MAC West Division last year.
