GREENWOOD, S.C. - The No. 17 ranked Glenville State Wrestling team competed at the Lander Duals earlier today, going 1-3 with a victory over the #18 team in the country, Belmont Abbey. GSU was without three starters in today's matches. 

The shorthanded Pioneers were able to defeat the Crusaders but fell to Mount Olive, UNC Pembroke and #1 Lander. On the day, Gavin Quiocho went 4-0 to lead the Pioneers while Ethan Hardy, Gaetano DeLeonardis, Isaiah Casto and Gavin Shamblin all went 2-2. Brady Ross went 2-1 with a victory over the 12th ranked wrestler in the country in the 174lbs class.

Glenville State will once again be off for a few weeks, next stepping into action Dec. 15-16 in the Midwest Classic at the University of Indianapolis.
