Glenville State Acrobatics and Tumbling Hit The Road to Face Davis and Elkins College

GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Acrobatics and Tumbling hits the road to face the Senators of Davis and Elkins College. The Lady Pioneers last had a conference meet almost a month ago.

Glenville is coming off a 246.740-128.750 victory over Stevenson University. The win helped the Lady Pioneers extend their winning streak to three. Coach Broadwater's squad was able to hit an incredible feet last Sunday. The Open Heat unit consisting of student-athletes Hannah Cunningham, Mackenzie Bathe, Delaney Rosales, and Abigail McDermott scored the program's first 9.90 for the first time since 2021.

The Senators enter Friday's dual meet with a (0-1) overall record and (0-1) in the Mountain East Conference. Davis and Elkins started the 2023 season at Fairmont State University. Coach Pualehua Keola squad fell 269.680-125.775 to the Falcons. Coach Keola enters her first year under the helm.

D&E in their first meet of the season excelled in the Pyramid and Toss Heats. In the Pyramid, the Senators scored a 24.25 posting solid scores in the Open and Inversion Heat. While Davis and Elkins only scored a 22.40 in the Toss, they only missed out on a possible 4.3 points.
