GSU Acrobatics and Tumbling Close-Out Season With Frostburg State

GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State University Acrobatics and Tumbling close out the 2023 Season at home in the Waco Center against the Bobcats of Frostburg State. Wednesday night's dual meet will also be Senior Day for the Lady Pioneers.

GSU is coming off a historic performance against the Senators of Davis and Elkins College. Coach Broadwater's squad posted a 261.470 which was the program's highest score since the 2019 campaign. The Lady Pioneers were just two points shy of breaking the school record.

Since the meet against Notre Dame College back in February, Glenville has been lights out winning four straight. GSU continues to have success in the Pyramid Heat along with the Acro portion of the meet. Throughout the season the Lady Pioneers have been able to close out meets on a high note producing solid Team Event scores.

Frostburg State enters Wednesday's dual with a (6-2) overall record and (3-0) in the Mountain East Conference. The Bobcats are ranked sixth in the nation and have faced four nationally ranked-opponents. Frostburg has defeated #7 Fairmont State and #15 West Liberty.

The highest score that the Bobcats have posted this season came against Baylor. While Frostburg lost the meet, they finished dual with a 273.510.
