Lady Pioneer Golf Set to Compete at NCAA East Regional

GLENVILLE, W.Va. - On Monday afternoon the NCAA announced the field for this year's East Regional. With Glenville winning the 2022-23 MEC Women's Golf Championship back in the fall, the Lady Pioneers were an automatic qualifier for the tournament.  The 2023 East Regional will start May 8th and run through the 10th at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois. 

The Lady Pioneers will be joined at the regional by Findlay, UIndy, Grand Valley State, Missouri-St. Louis, Tiffin, Wayne State, Ferris State, Illinois-Springfield, Walsh, Ohio Dominican, Saginaw Valley State, Gannon, Franklin Pierce, and Northern Michigan. Along with the 15 teams, there are six individual qualifiers. 

Participants will play 54 holes of competition throughout the three-day event. The top six teams out of the east along with two individuals from teams that are not advancing will advance to the National Tournament. The NCAA championships will be held May 16-20 at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri.
