GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Wrestling will welcome Frostburg State and Kentucky Wesleyan tomorrow (Feb. 22) as the Pioneers will honor their seniors.
GSU is coming off a loss to 19th ranked (Division I) West Virginia this past weekend in WVU's annual 'Beauty and the Beast' event with the gymnastics team. Glenville fell 42-3 to the Mountaineers as Gavin Quiocho was the only Pioneer to win a match, taking a victory in the 133-pound class.
GSU has never met with Frostburg State but they faced of with Kentucky Wesleyan, defeating them on the road 45-9 in late 2021. However, the Pioneers have squared off with the Bobcats in individual matches, like this year's MEC Championship when Gavin Quiocho defeated FSU's Thierno Diallo for the 133 MEC title.
Senior festivities will kick off at 1:45 p.m., followed by the matches begining at 2 p.m.
