FROSTBURG, Md. - The Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team fell to the MEC preseason favorite Frostburg State earlier today in Maryland, losing 265.910-255.390. 

It was especially tight after the first event of the meet, the Compulsory Event, as the Bobcats scored a 37.500 and the Pioneers 37.100. The Acro Event (28.350 FSU – 27.300 GSU) and the Pyramid Event (29.150 FSU – 28.600 GSU) allowed Frostburg State to hold onto an advantage of 95.000 to 93.000 at the end of the first half. 

After the half, FSU finished the Toss Event at 28.950 while the Pioneers finished at 27.400. The Tumbling Event is where the Bobcats were really able to create separation, outscoring Glenville State 54.625-49.375 in the event. To close out the meet, the Pioneers completed their Team Event with a score of 85.610 while FSU tallied 87.330, completing the victory over the Pioneers 265.910-255.390.
