THE OPPONENT
WEST VIRGINIA STATE
The Yellow Jackets enter (1-4, 0-3 MEC) with their lone victory coming earlier in the season at Bluefield State. This is WVSU's first full season of competition after competing last year in exhibition meets.
Kaitlyn Miller is in her second season leading the WVSU A&T program. She was named the HC after serving as a graduate assistant at Coker in the program's first competitive season. She was a member of the Gannon A&T program during her collegiate days, competing on multiple Golden Knight teams that were top five in the nation.
WVSU set a program high 178.60 in their win at Bluefield State on Feb. 23. Since then, the Yellow Jackets had to forfeit their meet with Fairmont State and fell to Stevenson two weeks ago, 193.255-136.145.
THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
The Pioneers come in (3-3, 2-2 MEC) after defeating Notre Dame College 260.185-250.025 on the road last week.
In Glenville's win against the Falcons, GSU set five new season highs while also tying another. Of those new season highs, three of them were 9.8's or higher. Coming off a devastating loss at home to Kutztown, it was a much-needed bounce back victory and performance for the Pioneers as the season nears its end.
