FAIRMONT, W.Va. - The Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team captured three MEC Event Championships today, winning the Inversion Pyramid, Open Pyramid and the 450 Salto Toss. 

The Pioneers defeated Fairmont State and Frostburg State in the Inversion Pyramid with a score of 9.725. In the Open Pyramid, the Pioneers topped Fairmont State and Frostburg State once again with a score of 9.825, having to go twice as Glenville and Frostburg tied originally, forcing the squads to go again and the Pioneers winning. GSU's final MEC Championship of the day was the 450 Salto Toss, winning with a score of 9.60 over Fairmont State and Frostburg State.
