2024-25 Season
The Cardinals this season are (6-8, 1-6 MEC) after losing both conference matchups last week against Fairmont State and Frostburg State. Head Coach
Chis Richardson enters his fifth season as the Head Coach of the Wheeling Men's Basketball program. Through his first four seasons of coaching at Wheeling, Coach Richardson has a record of 32-73 and 23-57 conference record. Last season was his best season as the Cardinals went (10-18, 6-14 MEC).

In the Mountain East Conference, WLU are ranked 1st on offense, averaging 94 points per game as a team and 11th on defense, allowing their opponents to score an average of 85 points per game.
Head Coach
Ben Howlett enters his eighth season as the Head Coach of the West Liberty Men's Basketball program. Last season, Coach Howlett led the Hilltoppers to a (26-7, 17-3 MEC) record. The Hilloppers came up short in the Mountain East Championship game and managed to make it to the second round of the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament.
