FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The No. 2 Glenville State Wrestling team picked up two dominant wins last night (Jan. 22) in Fairmont, defeating Fairmont State, 40-10, and Garrett College, 50-6.

#2 GSU 40 | FSU 10
The Pioneers won the first seven weight classes of the match with Brady Layman and Wiley Houser pinning their opponents and Hunter Ross, Gaetano DeLeonardis and Hayden Pummel winning by tech fall. Fairmont State secured their only points in the 184-pound class and the 197-pound class before Isaiha Casto pinned Aiden Pham to put the finishing touches on the victory.

#2 GSU 50 | GC 6
Brady Layman, Hunter Ross, Wiley Houser, Zachary Holstion and Isaiha Casto all won by pinfall while Cameron Fentress, Gavin Quiocho, Gaetano DeLeonardis and Hayden Pummel picked up tech fall wins. Garrett College produced their only points with a pinfall in the 197-pound class.
