GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Men's Basketball hosts Penn State Mont Alto (10-2, 7-0 PSUAC) tomorrow (Jan. 4) for their first game of the 2025 calender year. The Pioneers and the Nittany Lions met last season with GSU picking up the five-point victory inside the Waco Center.

2024-25 Season
Penn State Mont Alto comes into Saturday's game with a record of (10-2, 7-0 PSUAC) after beating Christendom, 64-46, before the break.

Head Coach
Jack Schenzel is in his 13th season as the Head Coach of the Penn State Mont Alto Men's Basketball program. In his 12 seasons with the team, Schenzel has won four PSUAC Coach of the Year awards and has a career record of 222-118 while making three straight USCAA National Tournament appearances.

The Nittany Lions are led in scoring this season by Veron Talla, who is averaging 17.9 points per game. Prince Mosengo is averaging a team high 9.7 rebounds per game, along with his 11 points per night. Four different Pioneers are averaging at least two assists per game. On defense, GSU is led by guard Gus Eddy, who is averaging a steal per game. The Aussie, Paul Gakmar, leads the team in field goal percentage, shooting 64% from the field. Freshman Don Colon-Lewis is shooting an impressive 46% from the three-point line, making 20 of his 43 attempted three pointers. Samier Kinsler and Prince Mosengo both lead the team in free throw percentage at 85% from the line.
