BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team has been picked 3^rd in the Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll, the league announced today. The poll was conducted by the league's seven head coaches.

The Pioneers were picked behind Fairmont State (35 points) and Frostburg State (32 points) as the Falcons took five first-place votes and the Bobcats received the final two votes. Kutztown, who joins the league this year as an Acrobatics & Tumbling member only, was tied for 4^th with West Liberty. West Virginia State (6^th) and newly established A&T program, Wheeling (7^th), rounded out the poll.

Glenville State finished the 2024 season (6-4, 4-2 MEC), tying their most wins in a single-season and setting a new program record for most conference wins in a season. GSU fell to Frostburg State in the MEC Tournament but captured three MEC Event Championships and qualified two events for NCATA Nationals. The Pioneers return All-MEC performers Savannah Duckworth and Payten Semenske as well as All-MEC Second Team performer Emilia Underwood in 2025.
