GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling team picked up three wins at today's home Pioneer Quad inside the Waco Center. The Pioneers defeated Bethany, 47-12, before taking care of Davis & Elkins, 51-6, and finishing the day with a 33-9 victory over Georgetown (Ky.)
 
The Pioneers notched seven pinfall victories against Bethany, led by Nick Johnson's 43-second fall win over Gabriel Anaya. Against Davis & Elkins, GSU notched six pinfall victories with the remaining four ending in tech falls. Zachary Holstion was able to pin his opponent in just 40 seconds.
 
To close the day, it was a competitive match from first-year program Georgetown College (Ky.), who picked up a pair of wins over a duo of Pioneer backups. Nick Johnson and Colby Whitehill logged longer matches, but both were able to finish their day's (3-0).
