MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The top 10 nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling team fell in a pair of duals Sunday (Nov. 16) afternoon at WVU, losing to nationally ranked West Virginia, 37-9, and Appalachian State, 36-12. The Pioneers earned a pair of individual victories in both matches.
Nick Johnson went (2-0) on the day, as the 3
rd ranked Division II wrestler beat a pair of DI grapplers in Rune Lawrence (197 lbs, WVU) and Gunnar Pool (285 lbs, App State) by pinfall.
Colby Whitehill and
Cael Rossi also notched victories during the day.
