GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Women's Basketball is preparing for another road regional matchup against a PSAC opponent, as GSU is set to take on Slippery Rock on Saturday (Nov. 22) afternoon. Glenville State is coming off two wins against regional opponents in Kutztown and West Chester last weekend. The game will tip at 2 p.m. from Morrow Field House.

2025-26 Season
The Rock enter the weekend (2-1) with a loss against Charleston but a pair of wins over Davis & Elkins and Lake Erie College. The Lady Pioneers and SRU met in 2024-25, where Glenville State won, 89-75.

Iyanna Wade leads the team in scoring, averaging 14 points per game and shooting 50% from three-point range while Sophia Hook averages 13 and is shooting 47% from three. Kayley Joseph-Bernard leads the team in rebounding, averaging nine a game and scoring over seven.

The Lady Pioneers come in (2-0) after an undefeated weekend at the Carol Eckman Memorial Classic in West Chester, as GSU beat Kutztown and West Chester in a pair of nail biters.

Glenville State is led by Nwando Okigbo and Marshall import Jayda Allie, both scoring 12 and a half points per game as Salem transfer Carine Pinkney is also scoring in double digits an even 10 per game. Ashlyn Riley and Payton James have both knocked down three three-pointers on the young season, and Riley is tied for the team lead in steals with four. Okigbo is averaging a double-double with her 12 rebounds a game.
