GREENWOOD, S.C. – The nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling team picked up a pair of wins, including a nationally ranked victory, on Sunday (Dec. 7) at the Carolina Clash in South Carolina. The Pioneers went (2-1) on the day, losing the No. 2 Lander in the nightcap.
 
Head coach Dylan Cottrell got production from returning All-American Colton Drousias, who made his anticipated 2025-26 debut after suffering an off-season injury. The former West Virginia transfer picked up two major decisions with a (2-0) record on the day. One of the Pioneers other returning All-Americans, Gabe Onorato, went (3-0) with a pinfall victory in the Mount Olive match. True freshman Jimmie Bailes also went undefeated on Saturday afternoon, logging a trio of victories at 157 pounds.
 
As a team, the Pioneers moved to (7-4) in duals and have now captured three nationally ranked wins.
