BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling star Savannah Duckworth has been named Mountain East Conference Athlete of the Week, the league announced. The weekly award is presented by The Health Plan.

Duckworth, a junior out of Worthington, W.Va., helped the Pioneers score their highest point total of the season last Monday (Mar. 3) against Limestone as the East Fairmont HS product had scores of 9.0 or higher 10 times. Of those 10, seven were 9.5s or better, including three in the pyramid event which helped GSU score 29.35 out of 30 possible points. Her best scores came in the compulsory event with multiple 9.85s.
