GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Women's Basketball begins their postseason run with a matchup against Wheeling on Thursday (Mar. 6) afternoon in Wheeling in the MEC Tournament. The Lady Pioneers earned the sixth seed as the Lady Pioneers split the season series with Wheeling as GSU beat Wheeling earlier in the year on the road, 77-65, and Wheeling returned the favor later in the year in Glenville, 75-67.

The Cardinals earned the three seed by going (13-7) in league play this year with a (17-11) overall record.
Head Coach
Anna Kowalska is in her third season as Head Coach of the Wheeling Women's Basketball program. Kowalska led the Cardinals to a sixth-place finish and fifth-place finish in the MEC during her first two seasons with the program, winning 18 games in 2023-24 and 14 games in 2022-23.
