FAIRMONT, W.Va. - The Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team captured four MEC Event Championships yesterday, winning the five element acro, seven element acro, open pyramid and 450 Salto toss.

The Pioneers defeated Fairmont State and West Liberty in Five Element Acro with a score of 9.720. In the Seven Element Acro, the Pioneers topped Fairmont State and West Liberty once again with a score of 9.200. The Pioneers won the Open Pyramid with a score of 9.800 and defeated Fairmont State and Frostburg State in this event. GSU's final MEC Championship of the day was the 450 Salto Toss, winning with a score of 9.325 over Fairmont State and Frostburg State.
