GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling will be taking the Five-Element Acro & Inversion Pyramid squads to the NCATA Nationals in Sioux Falls, S.D. tomorrow (Apr. 27). The NCATA Event Finals will start at 11 a.m. and will air on ESPN+.

The Pioneers finished up the regular season with a record of (7-2, 5-1 MEC), while also finishing second place in the Mountain East Conference Tournament and bringing home four MEC Event Championships, including the Five-Element Acro.

In the Five Element Acro event, the Pioneers beat out Long Island and Duquesne to earn the at-large bid for the NCATA Event Finals with an average score of 9.570. The Pioneers will take on Quinnipiac, Iona, Oregon, Mary Hardin-Baylor University, Baylor, Limestone, Augustana, and Fairmont State.

In the Inversion Pyramid event the Pioneers won the at large bid beating out Saint Leo University and Texas Lutheran University with an average score of 9.740 to solidify their spot in the NCATA Event Finals. The Pioneers will face the same pair of opponents in this event final as well.
