SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling standouts Aubrey Ward and Savannah Duckworth have captured NCATA National awards, the association announced.

Ward was named the NCATA DII Freshman of the Year, furthermore solidifying her outstanding freshman campaign on the national stage. The Huntington, W.Va. native was tabbed MEC Freshman of the Year and earned NCATA Freshman of the Week multiple times during the 2025 campaign. Ward earned everything on the mat, helping the Pioneers score a perfect 10.0 at Kutztown and produce 9.50+ finishes in the pyramid throughout the season.

Duckworth landed on the NCATA All-American team for the first time in her storied career, as the three-time All-MEC First Team selection was once again a vital piece in the Pioneers (8-3, 5-1 MEC) season. The East Fairmont HS product was a member of three of the four MEC Event Championships this year as well as being the top for both nationally qualifying events in Five-Element Acro and Inversion Pyramid. She was honored as MEC Athlete of the Week twice and NCATA Honorable Mention Athlete & Specialist of the Week throughout the 2025 campaign.
