SEATTLE, Wash. – Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling athletes Savannah Duckworth and Aubrey Ward have been tabbed NCATA Weekly Honorable Mention recognition, the association announced.

Duckworth earned NCATA Honorable Mention Specialist of the Week as the junior from Worthington, W.Va. was a huge contributor in the Pioneers pyramid event as the top in all three heats. All three started from a 10 with the Pioneers lowest score only being a 9.45. Heat 1 Inversion scored a perfect 10.0, the first Glenville has received since the 2019 season.

Ward, who earned this award earlier in the year as well, was NCATA Honorable Mention Freshman of the Week. The Huntington, W.Va. native is a base in Acros, a back spot for tosses, a backbend for heat 2 pyramid and is the brace for the inversion pyramid, the unassisted high hand in hand which scored a perfect 10. Ward is also a key contributor in the team event and other events with heightening the start values.
