GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes Janae Scott & Aaron Kupfner have been named GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.

Scott, a junior from Doylestown, Pa., won her fourth-straight MEC Shot Put Championship (two indoor, two outdoor) at the 2025 MEC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 13.47m. She also placed second in the discus (41.90m) and 7^th in the hammer throw at 44.62m.

Kupfner, a senior transfer from West Virginia Wesleyan, notched a 3^rd place finish in the 110m hurdles (14.78) and a 7^th place finish in the 400m hurdles (55.82). In the 400m hurdle prelims, Kupfner raced out to a 54.91, which was good enough for 2^nd.
