BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The 13
th ranked Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling team will be the No. 2 seed in the 2025 MEC Tournament, the league announced.
The Pioneers earned the No. 2 seed after finishing (7-2, 5-1 MEC) in the regular season with their lone loss coming to the MEC Regular Season Champions, Fairmont State. The #5 nationally ranked Falcons captured their second-straight regular season title with a perfect (6-0) mark in MEC play. Glenville State will meet with the 3rd seeded Frostburg State Bobcats, who the Pioneers defeated earlier in the year in a tri-meet in Glenville. GSU and Frostburg State are set to compete at Joe Retton Arena on the campus of Fairmont State at 2 p.m. in the MEC Tournament Semifinals on Friday (Apr. 11).
