HAMPTON, Va. – The nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling team finished their weekend with four victories in two days at the Virginia Duals to capture the championship in the collegiate division. The Pioneers picked up wins over Johns Hopkins and Averett on Friday (Jan. 9) before defeating Frostburg State and Findlay on Saturday (Jan. 10).
 
It was a pair of dominating wins on Friday afternoon for the Pioneers, as they beat JHU and AU by a combined score of 92-3 to easily move on in the bracket. Saturday's matchup against MEC foe Frostburg State ended in a 34-9 score, and the Pioneers used back-to-back wins from Nick Johnson and Colby Whitehill to knock off Findlay in the finals, 25-20.
