GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Ninth-ranked Glenville State Wrestling will welcome Salem into the Waco Center on Thursday (Feb. 19) as the Pioneers will be honoring their eight seniors.
The Pioneers are coming off of a top 10 win over Ashland, 24-13, on the road where they also blew out Thomas More, 48-6.
Gabe Onorato defeated the #3 wrestler at 149 pounds and
Leo Hess III beat a returning All-American at 165 pounds in the match with Ashland. Glenville State is (17-7) in duals, which is the second-most in a single season behind last year's 19 dual victories.
Salem enters (2-6) in duals, with both victories coming Mountain East Conference opponents in Davis & Elkins and Wheeling. The Pioneers have seen the Tigers multiple times this year, most recently at the MEC Championship in late January.
Action will begin at 7 p.m. on McPherson Court and will be streaming on the Mountain East Conference Digital Network.
