GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling athletes Savannah Duckworth and Emilia Underwood swept the Mountain East Conference weekly awards presented by The Health Plan. Duckworth earned Athlete of the Week while Underwood was the Specialist of the Week.
 
Duckworth, senior out of Worthington, W.Va., was once again impressive in the Pioneers tri-meet wins over Kutztown and West Virginia State on Saturday (Feb. 21). Duckworth headlined a pair of 9.75s for GSU in the compulsory pyramid and inversion pyramid, which were two of seven season highs for GSU.
Underwood, a senior from Bridgeport, W.Va., helped GSU to three scores of 9.55 or better in the pyramid, where she serves as the toss and catcher in all three heats. Heat one's score of 9.75 was also a season-high for the blue and white.
