GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling has moved up a spot to No. 11 in the first in-season NCATA National Rankings of the 2026 season, the association announced today.
The Pioneers, who currently sit at (5-2) overall and (4-1) in MEC matchups, have had both of their losses come to nationally ranked teams. Gannon came in at No. 7 in the poll while Fairmont State is now the #4 team in the country, just behind Baylor, Oregon and Quinnipiac. Glenville State scored a season-high 256.910 in their defeat to Fairmont State last time out, and will be looking to finihs the regular season strong at West Liberty on Sunday (Mar. 29).
The NCATA championships committee considers the overall performance of teams throughout the season thus far and utilized the following criteria to consider team rankings: W/L record, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition, common opponents, average meet score (adjusted to remove high/low), average meet start value (adjusted to remove high/low), score differential (adjusted to remove high/low) and the teams' progression throughout the season.
