BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Acrobatics & Tumbling Head Coach Taylor Broadwater has been awarded the 2026 Mountain East Conference Coach of the Year award, the league announced today.
 
Broadwater, a former Pioneer herself, is in her fourth season leading the program. The Broadwater-led Pioneers completed the regular season (6-2) overall and (5-1) in the MEC with a second-place finish in the conference standings. The Pioneers reached five MEC wins for the second consecutive season and are (14-4) in the league over the last three seasons under Broadwater.
 
The former NCATA National Champion in the Open Pyramid coached the MEC Athlete of the Year in Savannah Duckworth and the MEC Specialist of the Year in Delaney Rosales this season alongside four All-MEC selections. Glenville State stayed in the NCATA Top 15 all season long and currently sit 11^th heading into the MEC Tournament.
